Randomized Controlled Trial
Anterior pallidal deep brain stimulation for Tourette's syndrome: a randomised, double-blind, controlled trial.
Deep brain stimulation (DBS) has been proposed to treat patients with severe Tourette's syndrome, and open-label trials and two small double-blind trials have tested DBS of the posterior and the anterior internal globus pallidus (aGPi). We aimed to specifically assess the efficacy of aGPi DBS for severe Tourette's syndrome. ⋯ French Ministry of Health.

Overlapped Stenting Combined with Coiling for Blood Blister-like Aneurysms: Comparison of Low-profile Visualized Intraluminal Support (LVIS) Stent and Non-LVIS Stent.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of overlapped stenting for blood blister-like aneurysms (BBAs) and to compare the outcomes between Low-profile Visualized Intraluminal Support (LVIS) and non-LVIS stents. ⋯ Overlapped LVIS stenting combined with coiling is feasible and safe for BBAs. Overall, the LVIS stent provided less risk of BBA recurrence compared with the non-LVIS stent and did not increase the risk of procedure-related complications.

30-day Readmission After Pancreatic Resection: A Systematic Review of the Literature and Meta-analysis.
The aim of this study was to identify and compare common reasons and risk factors for 30-day readmission after pancreatic resection. ⋯ Readmission after pancreatic resection is common and can largely be attributed to infectious complications and inability to maintain adequate hydration and nutrition. Focus on outpatient resources and follow-up to address these issues will prove valuable in reducing readmissions.
