    AbstractWe present one case of pulmonary edema following intravenous naloxone administration for antagonism of residual narcotic drugs. The patient was a young man without cardiopulmonary or neurologic disease. Pathogenesis results from a massive sympathetic discharge which leads to neurogenic pulmonary edema.
