    AbstractThe article presents a classification of conditions, accompanied with increasing of iron accumulation of the liver cells, normal iron metabolism in the human body, etiology, epidemiology, multifactorial structure of the pathogenesis of HFE homozygous hemochromatosis, clinic of iron overload syndrome. The modern algorithms of diagnostic and tactics of patients with the use of genotyping and correction of iron content.
