Zavegepant nasal spray is a novel CGRP receptor antagonist that has been developed for the acute treatment of migraine - a prevalent disease leading to disability and economic burden. The meta-analysis aims to quantify the efficacy of Zavegepant compared to standard care or placebo in achieving pain freedom, freedom from most bothersome symptoms (MBS), sustained pain freedom, and pain relapse at 2 to 48 hours. ⋯ This meta-analysis confirms the effectiveness of Zavegepant nasal spray in treating acute migraine, with significant improvements in pain and symptom relief. Further research is needed to determine the effect on pain relapse and overall safety.

Soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (suPAR) is an inflammatory biomarker that is used to predict mortality, readmission, early discharge, and LOS, thus, serves as a useful tool for ED physicians. Our study aims to analyze the efficacy of suPAR in predicting these prognostic markers in ED. ⋯ suPAR is proven to be a significant marker in predicting 30-day and 90-day mortality in ED patients.

Femoral neck fractures in young adults(<65 years), have always been a difficult problem, characterized by high rates of nonunion and avascular necrosis (AVN). The clinical efficacy of anatomical reduction and non-anatomical reduction methods needs to be supported by clinical data. Therefore, we conduct a meta-analysis on the clinical efficacy of different reduction methods to better guide clinical practice. ⋯ In the case of difficult to achieve anatomical reduction, for young patients (< 65 years) with femoral neck fracture, reduction with positive buttress can be an excellent alternative and negative buttress should be avoided as much as possible.

To compare the effect of different noninvasive external therapies of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on the prevention of postpartum urinary retention (PUR) using a network meta-analysis (NMA). ⋯ Current evidence shows that acupoint compressing combined with auricular acupressure may be the best noninvasive TCM treatment for preventing PUR based on routine nursing; however, further high-quality clinical randomized controlled trials are needed for validation and support.

Establishment and validation of a nomogram model for predicting ovulation in the PCOS women.
The mechanisms underlying ovulatory dysfunction in PCOS remain debatable. This study aimed to identify the factors affecting ovulation among PCOS patients based on a large sample-sized randomized control trial. ⋯ The nomogram composed of LH, free testosterone, BMI, period times per year and the application of clomiphene may predict the ovulation among PCOS patients.
