Prospective multicenter study. ⋯ The rate of poor baseline waveform derivation in spine surgery was 2% in our series. This was significantly more likely in high-risk surgery for thoracic lesions and OPLL, and in cases with preoperative severe motor deficit. In such cases, it may be preferable to use multiple modalities for IONM to derive multichannel waveforms from distal limb muscles, including the AH.Level of Evidence: 3.

A multicenter, retrospective study. ⋯ Removal of interspinous contextures did not influence clinical outcomes at 1 year after surgery, but it may be likely to cause disc height loss when it applied at the L4/5 level.Level of Evidence: 3.

Prospective 2-year factor-, cluster-, and reliability-multicenter analysis. ⋯ We found 25 potentially meaningful functional outcomes in the context of objective functional measurements (such as trunk range of motion, dynamic and static balance, strength, and muscle fatigue resistance) and body characteristics. The present framework may help to select appropriate functional outcomes and rate effects beyond the known core set of outcomes.Level of Evidence: 1.
