Comparative StudyCoronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19): Role of Chest CT in Diagnosis and Management.
OBJECTIVE. The objective of our study was to determine the misdiagnosis rate of radiologists for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and evaluate the performance of chest CT in the diagnosis and management of COVID-19. The CT features of COVID-19 are reported and compared with the CT features of other viruses to familiarize radiologists with possible CT patterns. ⋯ CONCLUSION. We found that chest CT had a low rate of missed diagnosis of COVID-19 (3.9%, 2/51) and may be useful as a standard method for the rapid diagnosis of COVID-19 to optimize the management of patients. However, CT is still limited for identifying specific viruses and distinguishing between viruses.

Placenta Accreta Spectrum: Correlation of MRI Parameters With Pathologic and Surgical Outcomes of High-Risk Pregnancies.
OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study is to determine whether MRI parameters of placenta accreta spectrum correlate with pathologic and surgical outcomes in high-risk pregnancies. MATERIALS AND METHODS. ⋯ CONCLUSION. MRI parameters are associated with placental invasion and correlate with the need for cesarean hysterectomy, as well as pathologic and surgical impressions of invasion. From these parameters, an organized template can be created to standardize reporting of placental invasion.

Role of Ultrasound and CT in the Workup of Right Upper Quadrant Pain in Adults in the Emergency Department: A Retrospective Review of More Than 2800 Cases.
OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to compare ultrasound and CT in the diagnostic evaluation of right upper quadrant pain in adults in the emergency department. MATERIALS AND METHODS. ⋯ CT showed an acute nongallbladder abnormality missed at a preceding ultrasound examination in 103 of 322 cases (32%). CONCLUSION. CT is noninferior to ultrasound in both ruling in and ruling out the diagnosis of cholecystitis in adult patients undergoing emergency evaluation of right upper quadrant pain and offers the advantage of depicting acute nongallbladder abnormalities.

Multicenter StudyRelation Between Chest CT Findings and Clinical Conditions of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Pneumonia: A Multicenter Study.
OBJECTIVE. The increasing number of cases of confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in China is striking. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between chest CT findings and the clinical conditions of COVID-19 pneumonia. ⋯ Most patients with COVID-19 pneumonia have GGO or mixed GGO and consolidation and vascular enlargement in the lesion. Lesions are more likely to have peripheral distribution and bilateral involvement and be lower lung predominant and multifocal. CT involvement score can help in evaluation of the severity and extent of the disease.

Radiology Perspective of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19): Lessons From Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome.
OBJECTIVE. Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pulmonary illness coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in China, more than 79,000 people have contracted the virus worldwide. The virus is rapidly spreading with human-to-human transmission despite imposed precautions. ⋯ CONCLUSION. The review of experiences with the MERS and SARS outbreaks will help us better understand the role of the radiologist in combating the outbreak of COVID-19. The known imaging manifestations of the novel coronavirus and the possible unknowns will also be discussed.
