Differentiation of Kawasaki Disease From Other Causes of Fever and Cervical Lymphadenopathy: A Diagnostic Scoring System Using Contrast-Enhanced CT.
The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristic findings of contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) of the neck in patients with Kawasaki disease (KD) and to develop a diagnostic scoring system to facilitate the diagnosis of KD versus other causes of fever and cervical lymphadenopathy. ⋯ The proposed diagnostic scoring system was useful in differentiating between patients with and without KD.

Factors Predicting Positive Culture in CT-Guided Bone Biopsy Performed for Suspected Osteomyelitis.
The goal of this study was to identify clinical factors and radiographic characteristics associated with positive culture results from bone biopsy in cases of suspected osteomyelitis. ⋯ The rate of positive culture from image-guided core biopsy of suspected osteomyelitis is low. In this study, lower CT attenuation values were associated with a significantly higher rate of positive culture. An attenuation value of 150 HU may serve as a threshold above which biopsy would be expected to have lower utility for obtaining specific microbial culture data.

Artificial Intelligence for Breast MRI in 2008-2018: A Systematic Mapping Review.
The purpose of this study is to review literature from the past decade on applications of artificial intelligence (AI) to breast MRI. ⋯ Interest in the application of advanced AI methods to breast MRI is growing worldwide. Although this growth is encouraging, the current performance of AI applications in breast MRI means that such applications are still far from being incorporated into clinical practice.

Comparative StudyComparison of T2-Weighted Imaging, DWI, and Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced MRI for Calculation of Prostate Cancer Index Lesion Volume: Correlation With Whole-Mount Pathology.
The objective of our study was to investigate the comparative effectiveness of different MRI sequences for the estimation of index lesion volume in patients with prostate cancer (PCa) compared with ground truth volume measured on whole-mount pathology. ⋯ DCE-MRI performed better than T2-weighted imaging and DWI for estimation of index PCa volume and therefore can be preferred over these other two sequences for volume estimation.

Repeat CT Performed Within One Month of CT Conducted in the Emergency Department for Abdominal Pain: A Secondary Analysis of Data From a Prospective Multicenter Study.
The purpose of this study is to determine both the frequency of repeat CT performed within 1 month after a patient visits the emergency department (ED) and undergoes CT evaluation for abdominal pain and the frequency of worsened or new CT-based diagnoses. ⋯ Short-term, repeat abdominal CT was performed for 10% of patients who underwent CT in the ED for abdominal pain, and it yielded new or worse findings for 30% of those patients.
