Contrast-Enhanced Spectral Mammography in Women With Intermediate Breast Cancer Risk and Dense Breasts.
The purpose of this study was to compare the diagnostic performance of contrast-enhanced spectral mammography (CESM) and ultrasound with that of standard digital mammography for breast cancer screening of women at intermediate risk who have dense breasts. ⋯ CESM was significantly more sensitive than standard digital mammography for detecting breast cancer in this screening population. No added benefit was found in the performance of ultrasound as an adjunct to CESM screens with negative results. CESM may be a valuable supplemental screening modality for women at intermediate risk who have dense breasts.

Diffusion Kurtosis Imaging Combined With DWI at 3-T MRI for Detection and Assessment of Aggressiveness of Prostate Cancer.
The objective of this study was to explore whether diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI) combined with DWI can improve the performance of DWI in detection and assessment of aggressiveness of prostate cancer (PCa). ⋯ Both ADC and Kapp can be used as quantitative parameters in detection and assessment of aggressiveness of PCa. The combination of DKI and DWI showed no significant superiority to DWI alone in detection and assessment of the aggressiveness of PCa.

Influences for Gender Disparity in the Radiology Societies in North America.
The objective of our study was to outline the gender distribution in leadership positions in the North American radiology societies. ⋯ Gender disparity exists in the leadership positions in North American radiology societies. We have attempted to study the relationship between gender, academic rank, and h-index with leadership roles in these societies.

Comparative StudyPrediction of Posthepatectomy Liver Failure: MRI With Hepatocyte-Specific Contrast Agent Versus Indocyanine Green Clearance Test.
The objective of our study was to identify whether quantitative measurements from gadoxetic acid-enhanced MRI are useful for predicting posthepatectomy liver failure (PHLF) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) compared with and in combination with future remnant liver volume (FRLV) and an indocyanine green (ICG) clearance test. ⋯ Measurements from gadoxetic acid-enhanced MRI predicted PHLF better than the ICG clearance test in patients with HCC who underwent hepatectomy.
