Comparative StudyProspective Evaluation of 18F-DCFPyL PET/CT in Detection of High-Risk Localized Prostate Cancer: Comparison With mpMRI.
OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to assess the utility of PET with (2S)-2-[[(1S)-1-carboxy-5-[(6-(18F)fluoranylpyridine-3-carbonyl)amino]pentyl]carbamoylamino]pentanedioic acid (18F-DCFPyL), a prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted radiotracer, in the detection of high-risk localized prostate cancer as compared with multiparametric MRI (mpMRI). SUBJECTS AND METHODS. ⋯ CONCLUSION. In patients with high-risk prostate cancer, 18F-DCFPyL PET/CT is highly sensitive in detecting intraprostatic tumors and can detect tumors missed on mpMRI. Measured uptake is significantly higher in tumor tissue, and PSMA-derived tumor burden is associated with severity of disease.

Comparative StudyCT Manifestations of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Pneumonia and Influenza Virus Pneumonia: A Comparative Study.
OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in CT manifestations of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pneumonia and those of influenza virus pneumonia. MATERIALS AND METHODS. ⋯ CONCLUSION. Most lesions in patients with COVID-19 pneumonia were located in the peripheral zone and close to the pleura, whereas influenza virus pneumonia was more prone to show mucoid impaction and pleural effusion. However, differentiating between COVID-19 pneumonia and influenza virus pneumonia in clinical practice remains difficult.

VI-RADS: Multiinstitutional Multireader Diagnostic Accuracy and Interobserver Agreement Study.
BACKGROUND. The Vesical Imaging Reporting and Data System (VI-RADS), based on multiparametric MRI (mpMRI), was developed to provide accurate information for the diagnosis of muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). OBJECTIVE. ⋯ We observed moderate to substantial interobserver agreement and a pooled AUC of 0.87 among radiologists of different levels of expertise using VI-RADS. CLINICAL IMPACT. VI-RADS could help determine the depth and range of excision in TURBT, decreasing the risk of complications and enhancing the accuracy of pathologic diagnosis.

CT attenuation values do not reliably distinguish benign sclerotic lesions from osteoblastic metastases in patients undergoing bone biopsy.
BACKGROUND. CT attenuation thresholds that accurately distinguish enostoses from untreated osteoblastic metastases have been published. In the Mayo Clinic practices, these thresholds have been applied more broadly to distinguish benign sclerotic bone lesions other than enostoses from osteoblastic metastases. ⋯ CLINICAL IMPACT. Published CT attenuation thresholds intended for distinguishing enostoses from osteoblastic metastases should not be used more broadly. More accurate alternative thresholds could not be derived.
