Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is an emergency and severe disorder of the cardiovascular system. This paper assessed the expression of plasma HAND2-AS1 in patients with ACS, researched its diagnostic and prognostic significance, and studied its possible mechanism for participating in ACS. ⋯ HAND2-AS1 was an independent biomarker for the diagnosis and prognosis of ACS. HAND2-AS1 might be involved in ACS development by regulating endothelial damage.

Quadcopters are used in various forms in the civil arena, from crop insurance to agricultural drones, as loudspeakers for announcing government guidelines, resilience tools in infrastructure monitoring, real-time vehicle detection, etc. However, the usage of quadcopters and hexacopters in supplying medical aid to inhospitable and far-flung terrains is being studied and researched in less detail throughout the globe. ⋯ The quadcopter can provide hope to the residents of the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India, located in far-flung places devoid of basic medical facilities.

We aimed to explore maternal and paternal risk factors with risk of congenital heart disease in infants. ⋯ We found that age, number of pregnancies, SBP, DBP, and BMI are maternal risk factors for CHD infants. And age, smoking, drinking, and BMI are paternal risk factors for CHD infants.

As the population ages, musculoskeletal disorders are a prominent contributory factor to loss of mobility and autonomy. Pain is a predictor of disability and worsening frailty and the role of the chronic pain specialist in the management of this cohort cannot be overstated. With growing requirements for pain specialists, we sought to identify barriers to recruitment within this specialty. ⋯ Increased exposure of trainees to the specialty during early stages of training may improve future recruitment to the subspecialty in Ireland.
