Athletes With Bone-Patellar Tendon-Bone Autograft for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Were Slower to Meet Rehabilitation Milestones and Return-to-Sport Criteria Than Athletes With Hamstring Tendon Autograft or Soft Tissue Allograft : Secondary Analysis From the ACL-SPORTS Trial.
Graft choices for athletes undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) include bone-patellar tendon-bone (BPTB) and hamstring tendon (HT) autografts and soft tissue allografts. The objective was to assess time to meet clinical milestones by graft type in athletes who completed a return-to-sport (RTS) program after ACLR. ⋯ Athletes with a BPTB autograft may take longer than athletes with an HT autograft or a soft tissue allograft to complete postoperative rehabilitation, recover quadriceps strength, and meet RTS criteria. Case ReportsDiffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis in a Patient With Shoulder Pain.
A 74-year-old man was referred to physical therapy by his primary care physician for insidious onset of right shoulder pain. Following examination, spinal radiographs and the human leukocyte antigen (HLA-B27) test, which is used to identify common autoimmune disorders, were completed. The radiographs revealed multilevel changes consistent with diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis, and the HLA-B27 test was positive. Case ReportsOsteosarcoma in a Man Referred for Lumbar Radiculopathy.
A 48-year-old man reported right hip pain and low back pain and was referred to physical therapy by an orthopaedic surgeon after magnetic resonance imaging revealed an L1-2 symmetrical disc bulge. His chief complaint was worsening right groin pain. ⋯ Magnetic resonance imaging was subsequently performed, and a biopsy established the diagnosis of osteosarcoma. J Orthop Sports Phys Ther 2020;50(4):214. doi:10.2519/jospt.2020.9131.

Case ReportsScapular Osteochondroma in a Skeletally Mature Man.
A 27-year-old man was referred to physical therapy by his primary care physician for chronic, intermittent right shoulder girdle pain. Radiographs of the shoulder were noncontributory. ⋯ Radiographs of the scapula demonstrated an osseous lesion projecting from the ventral inferior scapula. J Orthop Sports Phys Ther 2020;50(3):168. doi:10.2519/jospt.2020.9325.

Meta AnalysisTo Flex or Not to Flex? Is There a Relationship Between Lumbar Spine Flexion During Lifting and Low Back Pain? A Systematic Review With Meta-analysis.
To evaluate whether lumbar spine flexion during lifting is a risk factor for low back pain (LBP) onset/persistence or a differentiator of people with and without LBP. ⋯ There was low-quality evidence that greater lumbar spine flexion during lifting was not a risk factor for LBP onset/persistence or a differentiator of people with and without LBP.
