In the current open debate at the European level on what would be the best Front-of-Pack Label (FOPL) to support customers' healthier and more informed food choices, little effort has been dedicated to analyzing the potential effects of bundling existing FOPLs. This study aims to compare the effects of consumers' subjective understanding and liking of different types of FOPL bundles. ⋯ This study extends the current research on bundling in general and on FOPL bundles in particular by providing evidence regarding consumers' subjective understanding and liking of the labels. Additionally, the research provided findings that might be relevant for policymakers by suggesting to investigate bundle of FOPLs to help the consumers' understanding in their process toward healthier and more informed food choices.

Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) can decrease the risk of calcium oxalate stone formation, which accounts for 80% of all renal stones. This study aimed to investigate the protective mechanisms of PUFAs against renal stones. ⋯ PUFAs repressed renal stone-induced renal tubular damage via the miR-93-5p/Pknox1 axis.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between poverty and children's nutritional outcomes. ⋯ A single tool of small money transfer would have limited effects, but considerable income increases that lift the poor out of poverty are important for the poor. Additionally, a mixed tool of financial support and nutritional knowledge may lead to better outcomes, especially for those living above the poverty line.

The ketogenic diet (KD) has been reported to reverse metabolic dysfunction in obesity. However, it remains unknown how the KD affects the balance between the classical and counterregulatory renin-angiotensin system (RAS) arms in adipose tissue, which carries important implications for metabolic function in adipocytes. The aim of this study was to compare the effects of the obesogenic diet and the KD on RAS balance in white and brown fat. ⋯ Despite fat depot-specific differences in RAS components, the obesogenic diet promoted the classical RAS arm, whereas the KD attenuated it and enhanced the counterregulatory arm.

Health care workers are in the high-risk group in terms of contracting infection because of their role in providing care to patients with COVID-19. We aim to examine the relationship between perceived stress, emotional eating, and nutritional habits in health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ Perceived stress and emotional eating are related to changes in eating/dietary habits among health care workers during the pandemic. We recommend healthy food choices and increased physical activity to reduce emotional eating and mitigate stress.
