The objectives were to prepare, characterize, and evaluate different ibuprofen (IBU) nanosuspensions. ⋯ IBU/PP/TW nanosuspension showed enhanced in vitro and in vivo performance as compared to the marketed product. Nanosuspensions prepared by the ultrahigh-pressure homogenization technique can be used as a good formulation strategy to enhance the rate and extent of absorption of poorly soluble drugs.

We aimed to investigate the presence and severity of depressive symptoms among coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) inpatients and any possible changes after their discharge. ⋯ Mood disturbances and depressive symptoms commonly occur among COVID-19 inpatients. Our results show that COVID-19 inpatients might be at higher risk for developing depressive reactive disorders and could benefit from an early psychological evaluation and strategies improving sleep quality.
