Diagnostic performance of diffusion-weighted (DWI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI for the differentiation of benign from malignant soft-tissue tumors.
A wide range of specificity values for the differentiation of benign and malignant soft-tissue tumors show the limitations of conventional MRI features. The data obtained by quantitative analysis of diffusion-weighted image (DWI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRIs would provide more objective results, especially in terms of cellularity and perfusion. ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. T2 -based MRI Delta-radiomics improve response prediction in soft-tissue sarcomas treated by neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
Standard of care for patients with high-grade soft-tissue sarcoma (STS) are being redefined since neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) has demonstrated a positive effect on patients' outcome. Yet response evaluation in clinical trials still relies on RECIST criteria. ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:497-510.

Diurnal variability of cerebral metabolites in healthy human brain with 2D localized correlation spectroscopy (2D L-COSY).
Two-dimensional localized correlation spectroscopy (2D L-COSY) is a research tool that has been applied to evaluate in vivo metabolic activity in many neurological and oncological disorders. Circadian mediators such as brain temperature, hydration, and osmotic regulation have been claimed to change metabolic profiles. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy Stage: 1 J. Magn. Reson. Probing structure of normal and malignant prostate tissue before and after radiation therapy with luminal water fraction and diffusion-weighted MRI.
Interpretation of diffusion in conjunction with T2 -weighted MRI is essential for assessing prostate cancer; however, the combination of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) with quantitative T2 mapping remains unexplored. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:619-627.

Assessing the performance of benign and malignant breast lesion classification with bilateral TIC differentiation and other effective features in DCE-MRI.
Dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) is increasingly being used to detect and diagnose breast cancer. However, the effective methods based on quantitative feature analysis need to be explored. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:465-473.
