Review Meta Analysis
3D-printed navigation template in cervical spine fusion: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
To explore the effectiveness and advantage of three-dimensional (3D)-printed navigation templates (3DPN-template) assisted in cervical spine fusion (CSF) surgery as compared to conventional surgery. ⋯ The 3D-printed navigation template in the cervical surgery can improve accuracy of pedicle screw placement and consequently improve outcomes. In future, multi-center efforts are needed to validate the relationships found in this review.

Comparable dislocation and revision rates for patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty with subsequent or prior lumbar spinal fusion: a meta-analysis and systematic review.
There is a known correlation between the procedures of lumbar spinal fusion (LSF), total hip arthroplasty (THA) and the complication of hip dislocation and revision occurring in patients. However there is no consensus as to whether the risk of this complication is higher if THA is performed before or after LSF. This meta-analysis aims to determine the influence of surgical sequence of lumbar spinal fusion and total hip arthroplasty on the rates of hip dislocation and revisions. ⋯ Level II, Meta-analysis of homogeneous studies.

Impact of pedicle subtraction osteotomy on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) measures in patients undergoing surgery for adult spinal deformity: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Systematic review and meta-analysis. ⋯ This meta-analysis did find improvements in the health-related quality of life in patients undergoing PSO surgery for adult spinal deformity.

Review Meta Analysis
The prevalence of adult de novo scoliosis: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Primary degenerative scoliosis represents a new scoliosis developing in patients with no prior history of spinal curvature. Researchers sought to determine the prevalence of this type of scoliosis. ⋯ Primary degenerative scoliosis is a highly prevalent condition, especially in females. Further research targeting this type of scoliosis is required to obtain more precise global prevalence estimates and to understand the influence of age and sex.

Review Meta Analysis
Cancer and mortality risks of patients with scoliosis from radiation exposure: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
The study aimed for unraveling the long-term health impact of cumulative radiation exposure from full-spine radiographs on children/adolescents with scoliosis. ⋯ Based on 35,641 participants with over 20 years' observations from 1912 to 1990, repeated radiographs and pertaining cumulative radiation dose resulted in elevated rates of cancer, breast cancer and cancer mortality for children/adolescents with scoliosis in comparison with matched general population. It is recommended that low-radiation or radiation-free and efficient methods should be used to monitor the evolution of children/adolescents with scoliosis.
