The purpose of this study was to present and analyze patients with audiovestibular post COVID-19 syndrome, and highlight the most characteristic and most common findings. We analyzed 87 patients aged between 20 and 86 years who presented to the Audiology Division between February 1, 2021 and July 1, 2021 after having been isolated due to the SARS-CoV-2 infection. Study patients presented with complaints of persistent hearing loss, tinnitus, and vertigo, lasting for more than 3 months. ⋯ Vertigo occurred in 9 patients, all of which were new-onset. A conclusion of our research is that audiovestibular post-COVID syndrome does exist. Further research with more patients and over a longer period is needed to obtain a better and longer effect on the audiovestibular system and audiovestibular complications, as well as an insight into possible recovery.

Case ReportsRARE INTRACRANIAL MULTIFOCAL NON-GERMINOMATOUS GERM CELL TUMOR IN AN 18-YEAR-OLD MALE: A CASE REPORT.
Intracranial germ cell tumors are rare brain tumors that are distinguished based on their histology and selected tumor markers. Non-germinomatous germ cell tumors are a diverse group of such tumors having the poorest prognosis. Most commonly, they are located in the suprasellar and pineal regions. ⋯ In conclusion, initial evaluation with neuroimaging, tumor markers, and cytology from cerebrospinal fluid is important as guidance to further treatment and prognosis. In selected cases, biopsy may not be indicated to start adjuvant chemotherapy. We emphasize the importance of specific treatment modality selection based mainly on tumor markers, regardless of the precise histologic classification.

PERCUTANEOUS DILATATIONAL TRACHEOSTOMY IN COVID-19 PATIENTS IN THE COVID HOSPITAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT: THE UNIVERSITY CLINICAL CENTER OF VOJVODINA EXPERIENCE.
Patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome due to COVID-19 require intensive care unit (ICU) admission with consecutive endotracheal intubation and invasive mechanical ventilation. In patients with long-term mechanical ventilation, percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy (PDT) may be considered. This retrospective analysis includes clinical data on patients treated at the ICUs of the COVID Hospital of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina in the period from September 3, 2021 to May 1, 2022, and underwent PDT. ⋯ Twenty-five (34.2%) patients were decannulated at the mean time of 19.60±11.81 days. The complications were tracheostomy related bleeding (2 patients), pneumothorax (4 patients), subcutaneous emphysema (1 patient) and cricoid cartilage injury (1 patient). PDT is a simple, safe, and effective procedure performed in COVID-19 patients in the ICU.

LEVEL OF PAIN AND ANALGESICS TAKEN AFTER CESAREAN SECTION AND DIFFERENCES ACCORDING TO TYPE OF ANESTHESIA AND DEMOGRAPHIC FACTORS.
The aim of this study was to investigate the level of pain and analgesic consumption in puerperas after cesarean section according to the type of anesthesia administered. This was a prospective study conducted at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Mostar University Hospital, in the period from September 2015 to June 2016. The study included 111 puerperas. ⋯ Higher level of education was associated with greater need for analgesics (p=0.016). Living in urban area was associated with greater pain sensation (p=0.023) and less need for analgesics (p<0.17). Spinal anesthesia for cesarean section resulted in less pain and less need for analgesics in the postoperative period compared to general anesthesia.

The aim of the study was to investigate the sexuality of individuals undergoing in vitro fertilization as one of the methods of infertility treatment. The focus was on sexual dysfunction, sexual satisfaction and associated risk factors. Data were collected based on a validated, standardized procedure. ⋯ There was a correlation between infertility, associated treatment, and sexuality. Infertility and involvement in treatment procedures increased the risk of sexual dysfunction. The risk factors identified in our study could help facilitate detection and timely treatment of sexual dysfunction, which would help maintain healthy sexuality in couples participating in in vitro fertilization procedures.
