Cardiac arrhythmias among hospitalized Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) patients: prevalence, characterization, and clinical algorithm to classify arrhythmic risk.
A significant proportion of COVID-19 patients may have cardiac involvement including arrhythmias. Although arrhythmia characterisation and possible predictors were previously reported, there are conflicting data regarding the exact prevalence of arrhythmias. Clinically applicable algorithms to classify COVID patients' arrhythmic risk are still lacking, and are the aim of our study. ⋯ Dominant arrhythmia amongst COVID-19 patients is AF. Arrhythmia prevalence is associated with age, disease severity, CHF, and troponin levels. A novel simple Classification tree, based on these parameters, can discriminate between high and low arrhythmic risk patients.

This study aimed to assess inpatient prevalence, characteristics, outcomes, and resource utilisation of hospitalisation for heatstroke in the United States. Additionally, this study aimed to explore factors associated with in-hospital mortalities of heatstroke. ⋯ The inpatient prevalence of heatstroke in the United States increased, while the in-hospital mortality of heatstroke decreased.

Paediatric soft tissue sarcomas in a resource constraint setting: Grade and stage at presentation and at oncologic intervention are usually of poor prognostic characteristics.
To describe the pattern of paediatric Rhabdomyosarcomas (RMS) and Non-Rhabdomyosarcomas (NRMS) with emphasis on the indices that affect survival outcomes. ⋯ Majority of our patients presented at a late stage with histologic high grade which confers poor prognosis and reduced chances for good overall survival outcome.

Waterpipe smoking, internet addiction and depression: a public health problem trio?
Waterpipe smoking and Internet addiction may result in a new public health problem globally. This study aimed to explore waterpipe use among a large group of adolescents and its association with Internet use, mental health, primarily depression and their demographic characteristics. ⋯ We suggest that adolescents who are depressed and who use the Internet excessively are at an increased risk for waterpipe use, independent of income and parenteral education.

Clinical profile and risk factors of recurrent pneumonia in children at Qena governorate, Egypt.
There is a scarce research study on recurrent pneumonia in children, particularly in the developing world. This study aimed to analyse the clinical characteristics, risk factors and underlying causes of recurrent pneumonia in children. ⋯ Our study showed that 11.40% of children with pneumonia had recurrent form and that most of them had an underlying illness. The most common detected risk factors for recurrent pneumonia were rural residence, low socioeconomic standard, over-crowding, prematurity and presence of respiratory distress at birth. Aspiration, congenital heart diseases, wheezing and asthma were found to be the main underlying illnesses associated with pneumonia recurrences.
