Hemodialysis is one of the treatment methods for chronic kidney disease, which is a common disease around the world. The problems that occur during the hemodialysis process may cause discomfort in patients. Therefore, it is important to regularly evaluate the concept of comfort in hemodialysis patients. ⋯ The comfort level was significantly better in hemodialysis patients who were male, those without comorbid disease, and those who were younger. There is a need to periodically assess the comfort level of hemodialysis patients and intervene when necessary in order to improve their quality of life.

Demyelinating disorders of the central nervous system (CNS) are rare disorders characterized by inflammation and the selective destruction of CNS myelin. The incidence of this disorder is increasing in developed countries. Nigerian studies on the pediatric population on the subject are very scarce. ⋯ ADEM was the most common clinical phenotype seen in this study. Patients with ADEM and ON had a better prognosis than transverse myelitis. Late presentation was also identified as a poor prognostic factor. Follow-up of cases is very important to monitor disease progression to multiple sclerosis.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Effect of Neurostimulator Usage on Block Success in Costoclavicular Block: A Randomized Controlled Trial.
The need of a neurostimulator for a successful nerve block was questioned in different block types after ultrasound had become standard. ⋯ Neurostimulator use did not affect block success in the CCB. Neurostimulator utilization prolonged block application time explicitly and did not change the complication rate. Ultrasound and injection pressure manometer are sufficient for a safe and successful CCB.
