Microleakage of glass ionomer based restorative materials in primary teeth: An In vitro study.
Using AutoCAD, we examined the microleakage of dye at the edges of primary-teeth restorations using three glass ionomer-based restorative materials. ⋯ Polyacid-modified composite resin may be a useful restorative material in primary teeth in terms of minimizing microleakage.

Effect of radiotherapy on the coronal-sealing ability of two different root canal sealing materials.
This study aimed to assess the coronal-sealing ability of two different root canal obturation materials: gutta-percha with AH Plus and Resilon with Epiphany SE between radiated and nonirradiated groups. ⋯ Radiotherapy does not significantly affect the coronal-sealing ability of root canal obturation materials, gutta-percha/AH Plus and Resilon/Epiphany SE.

Fracture resistance and failure modes of lithium disilicate or composite endocrowns.
The aim of this study was to determine the fracture strength of endocrowns made of lithium disilicate ceramic and two different indirect resin composites. ⋯ The lithium disilicate ceramic endocrowns exhibited higher fracture resistance than indirect composite groups. Both of the composite endocrowns showed more favorable failure than the lithium disilicate ceramic endocrowns.

Effects of auditory and audiovisual presentations on anxiety and behavioral changes in children undergoing elective surgery.
: Preoperative anxiety is a critical issue in children, and associated with postoperative behavioral changes. ⋯ Compared to auditory presentations, audiovisual presentations, in terms of being memorable and interesting, may be more effective in reducing children's anxiety. In addition, we can suggest that both methods can be equally effective for postoperative behavioral changes.

Evaluation of fracture resistance in root canal-treated teeth restored using different techniques.
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different coronal restoration techniques on fracture resistance of root canal-treated mandibular premolars with mesio-occluso-distal (MOD) cavities. ⋯ Usage of horizontal post or occlusal Ribbond usage increased the fracture resistance of root canal-treated premolars with MOD cavities.
