To assess the prevalence, awareness, treatment, and control of hypertension in Saudi Arabia. ⋯ The prevalence of hypertension was high, with low awareness, treatment, and control rates among Saudis. Therefore, policymakers and healthcare providers must work harmoniously to promote health and to prevent, detect, and control hypertension early.PROSPERO Reg. No.: CRD42023407978.

Epidemiology of lean/non-obese nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in China: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
To assess the prevalence and metabolic characteristics of lean/non-obese (L/NO) nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in China. ⋯ Prevalence of NAFLD was slightly lower among the L/NO-NAFLD Chinese population than the global level but has obviously increased recently. In addition, the metabolic profile of L/NO-NAFLD patients was generally better compared to OW/O-NAFLD patients.PROSPERO Reg. No.: CRD42022327240.

Cardiothoracic ratio and left ventricular ejection fraction relationship: A meta-analysis study.
To determine the overall effect size, identify the study with the strongest effect size, and examine the age group with the strongest relationships between the variables. ⋯ This study is a meta-analytic study combining 13 studies examining the statistical relationships between CTR and LVEF. The results of this study are expected to make a valuable contribution to the field of research on the relationship between CTR and LVEF, providing a more comprehensive understanding of these associations. Meta Analysis
Prevalence of pelvic floor disorders in the Eastern Mediterranean region: A meta-analysis.
High prevalence of risk factors for pelvic floor disorders (PFD) in the Eastern Mediterranean may result in higher rates of prevalence of PFD in comparison to other regions. Despite individual studies, there are no clear statistics on the cumulative prevalence of PFDs in the East Mediterranean region. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of PFDs in the Eastern Mediterranean region. ⋯ In meta-analysis pooling studies of mixed quality, a high prevalence of PFDs was seen in the Eastern Mediterranean region.PROSPERO No.: CRD42021283127.

Meta Analysis
Prevalence of obesity in treated and untreated patients with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: A meta-analysis.
To discuss and summarize the scholarly published literature on the difference in obesity rate in treated and untreated attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) patients to evaluate the influence of ADHD medication on weight status in these individuals. ⋯ The prevalence of obesity observed in treated ADHD patients was significantly lower compared to that in unmedicated patients. This result suggests that the treatment is not only important for controlling ADHD manifestations but is also associated with lower body mass index. Therefore, further prospective studies with large sample size are required for controlling the confounding factors such as comorbidities and medication status.
