[Asthma as a Protective Factor Against Mortality in Mexican Population with COVID-19].
SARS-CoV-2 infection associated with the presence of comorbidities increased the risk of mortality. However, the role of asthma as a predictor of mortality and severity has not been defined. ⋯ The presence of asthma in patients with COVID-19 decreased the risk of mortality by 43%. The immunological context could explain the decreased risk of mortality in asthmatic patients infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Case Reports[Polymorphic lymphoproliferative disorder, lymphomatoid granulomatosis-type, in a patient with iatrogenic immunosuppression, an unusual entity].
Patients with immunodeficiency, whether congenital or acquired, have a significantly higher incidence of malignancies, especially mature lymphoid neoplasms and lymphoproliferative disorders. We present the case of a 50-year-old patient with a history of dermatomyositis and antisynthetase syndrome on immunosuppressive therapy, who consulted due to increased volume of the lacrimal gland in the upper left eyelid, associated with weight loss and night sweats. He was admitted for an elective biopsy. ⋯ In this scenario, an infectious, neoplastic, or rheumatological etiology was considered a differential diagnosis, especially in the context of our patient. Finally, the biopsies evidenced extensive necrosis with angiocentric and angiodestructive lymphoid infiltration associated with positive EBV. After extensively reviewing the symptoms, histology, and new classifications of mature B-lymphoid neoplasms, the diagnosis of polymorphic B-lymphoproliferative disorder, lymphomatoid granulomatosis-type was made, an uncommon entity rarely associated with iatrogenic immunosuppression.

Review[Intervention fo Effective Development od Self-Care in Heralth Students: a Scoping Review].
Self-care is a central element in the training of health students. The lack of effective strategies to develop it is associated with a 50% prevalence of burnout in this population. ⋯ There are a variety of effective strategies to assess and promote self-care in health students. The studies we found stand out for being of good quality and applicable to the different study plans.

Multicenter Study[Development of Normative Data for the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) in the Elderly Population of Chile: A Multi-City Study].
The Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) is one of the most widely used tests to assess the global cognitive deterioration of older adults. There are many versions of this Test in Spanish. A validation study was previously conducted in Chile, but to date, no standards computed from a large population sample are available. ⋯ This article provides normative scores for the MMSE that should be useful in clinical practice as they may help better interpret the performances of Chilean older adults who seek consultation for cognitive impairment.

Case ReportsFish tank granuloma not associated to Mycobacterium marinum but to Microbacterium paraoxydans.
Fish tank granuloma has traditionally been associated with Mycobacterium marinum. We report the case of a 54 old-year woman that worked in a freshwater fish pet store and developed a skin ulcer in a hand finger with a suppurative granuloma secondary to Microbacterium paraoxydans. ⋯ She evolved satisfactorily after receiving a sequential treatment with beta-lactams and linezolid. To our knowledge, it is the first known description of this type.
