[Quality of life according to type of confinement of Chilean university students during COVID-19 pandemic].
COVID-19 confinement measures in the population affected the quality of life and sleep. ⋯ University students had sedentary lifestyles regardless of the type of confinement. Those who were in confinement, especially for suspected COVID-19 infection, had the worst quality of sleep and quality of life.

The accelerated scientific, technological, and social advances in recent years have posed new challenges for professional training institutions, where universities play a leading role. Medical schools have not been oblivious to this process. This is how Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile implemented in 2015 a curricular reform derived from the joint work of academics, students and graduates. ⋯ The first cohort of the new curriculum entered in 2015, consisting of 126 students. The implementation required constant follow-up and monitoring, establishing changes and adjustments according to educational needs and unforeseen conditions such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The implementation process of the new curriculum has been positive, adjusting to the defined strategic planning and responding to unexpected events.

Giant cell Arteritis (GCA) is the most common systemic vasculitis in patients over 50 years. Diagnosis is based on clinical, laboratory, imaging and biopsy. Temporal artery biopsy (TAB) may be inconclusive in up to 40% of patients. ⋯ Our patients showed frequent extracranial involvement and TAB was a useful diagnostic tool.

IgG4-related disease (IgG4 RD) is an immune-mediated fibro-inflammatory disorder, with tissue infiltration of IgG4+ plasma cells. It causes pseudotumors, tumors, and a wide spectrum of clinical manifestations. ⋯ ER-IgG4 can affect any tissue. Multiorgan involvement was more common in this series, with preference for lungs, eyes and kidneys. An excellent response to steroids is characteristic of the disease, but with a high relapse rate that requires additional immunosuppression.

[The experience of being accompanied by a primary nurse during chemotherapy. A qualitative study].
The diagnosis of an oncological disease exposes people to a greater state of vulnerability and health care models are not focused on their subjective needs. In this scenario, the primary nurse becomes a professional who contributes to the comprehensive care of people with cancer. ⋯ This study demonstrates the impact that personalized attention focused on people's needs has on their lives. It also contributes to visualize the work of primary nurses in the care and accompaniment of patients with cancer and their families. The need for specialized professionals such as Advanced Practice Nursing is underlined.
