To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of high-quality direct anterior approach (DAA) and other approaches for the treatment of elderly patients with femoral neck fracture. ⋯ The current evidenceindicates that the DAA was associated with a significantly lower dislocation rate compared to posterior capsular approaches for hemiarthroplasty. There was no significant difference in dislocation rate with the lateral and anterolateral approach.

To compare the clinical outcome between unilateral and bilateral pedicle screw fixation in minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion(MIS-TLIF) for the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases. ⋯ Using unilateral or bilateral pedicle screw fixation in MIS-TLIF for lumbar degenerative diseases can achieve the same clinical effects, and there was no significant difference in complication rate. Unilateral pedicle screw fixation is safer than bilateral fixation because of less operative time and blood loss. However, the number and quality of the literatures may result in low reliability, so greater sample size and high quality RCTs are needed in future.

Meta Analysis
[Iincidence of postoperative delirium after hip surgery in elderly patients: a meta-analysis].
To evaluate incidence of postoperative delirium after hip surgery in elderly patients by meta-analysis. ⋯ Incidence of postoperative delirium after hip surgery in elderly patients increases higher, especially in emergency operation. A standardizing research method is benefit for evaluate incidence of postoperative delirium after hip surgery in elderly patients, decreasing heterogeneity and publication bias.

To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of preoperative administration of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor on pain occurring with total knee arthroplasty (TKA). ⋯ The current evidence indicated that preoperative administration of COX-2inhibitor can effectively improve the effect of postoperative analgesia, reduce the consumption of morphine and lessen the incidence of pruritus. Due to the limited quantity of the included studies and the evidence with limited strength, further high-quality RCTs are needed to verify the aforementioned conclusion.

Meta Analysis Comparative Study
[Minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis versus open reduction and internal fixation for distal tibial fractures in adults: a meta-analysis].
To perform a meta-analysis on clinical outcomes of minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis (MIPPO) or open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) for distal tibial fractures in adults. ⋯ For distal tibial fractures in adults, MIPPO has, advantages of short operative time, less blood loss, lower incidence of infection and fracture non-uniom, but with high fracture malunion rate. MIPPO for distal tibial fractures in adults is better than ORIF, and the best treatment should choose according to patient's condition.
