To compare therapeutic effects between suspine rotation and flexion manipulation for treating lumbar disc herniation. ⋯ The whole effect of lumbar backwards rotation manipulation is more satisfactory than flexsion manipulation for treating lumbar intervertebral disc herniation. But spinning force and times should be noticed.

[Clinical study on unilateral pedicle screw fixation and interbody fusion for the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases under Quadrant system].
To compare the clinical effects of unilateral pedicle screw fixation (uni-PS) assisted by Quadrant system and bilateral pedicle screw fixation (bi-PS) for the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases. ⋯ Minimally invasive unilateral pedicle screw fixation is a safe and feasible method for the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases. It is as effective as the bilateral fixation in lumbar spinal fusion. In addition, it has the advantages of short operative time, less volume of blood loss, high fusion rate, etc.

To investigate clinical effects of auricular acupoint (AA) in the treatment of analgesia during perioperative period in total hip arthroplasty. ⋯ Auricular acupuncture can reduce postoperative pain, reduce the usage of analgesic and complications, such as nausea and vomiting, improve the function of hip joint after operation.

[Single-segment pedicle screw fixation for the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures through the gap of paravertebral muscles].
To compare the clinical effect of thoracolumbar fractures between single-segment pedicle screw fixation approach for the gap of paravertebral muscles and double-segment pedicle screw fixation approach for the stripping of paravertebral muscles. ⋯ In the premise of strict controlling surgery indications, the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures with single-segment pedicle screw fixation through the gap of paraspinal muscles, can effectively recover the height of vertebral body and rectify posterior salient, and reduce the fixed segment. Compared with the traditional operative method of double-segment pedicle screw fixation through the stripping of paraspinal muscle, it can obviously reduce the operation wound and the bleeding, lessen the pain of lumbar and back. And the recent clinical effect is satisfied.

[Clinical study on the prevention of heterotopic ossification after total hip arthroplasty by Xiaozhong Zhitong].
To explore the therapeutic effects of Xiaozhong Zhitong mixture preventing heterotopic ossification (HO) after total hip arthroplasty. ⋯ The effect of Xiaozhong Zhitong mixture on the prevention of heterotopic ossification after total hip arthroplasty is similar to indomethacin, but Xiaozhong Zhitong mixture has the advantages of less side effects and easily acceptance by patients.
