Adherence to a Mediterranean Lifestyle and Changes in Frequency, Severity, and Localization of Pain in Older Adults.
To assess the association between adherence to a Mediterranean lifestyle and changes in pain, and its characteristics over time in older adults. ⋯ A Mediterranean lifestyle was associated with improvement of pain characteristics in older adults. Experimental studies should assess the efficacy of an integral lifestyle approach for the management of pain in older adults.

Invasive Management in Older Adults (≥80 Years) With Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction.
To evaluate the association of invasive management (coronary angiogram) with all-cause mortality among older adult (≥80 years of age) patients presenting with non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) by frailty status. ⋯ Invasive approach is associated with improved survival among older adults with NSTEMI irrespective of frailty status.

Incidence and Risk Factors for Acute Kidney Injury After Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell Therapy.
To evaluate the association of baseline and postinfusion patient characteristics with acute kidney injury (AKI) in the month after chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. ⋯ Acute kidney injury occurred in approximately 1 in 6 patients who received axicabtagene ciloleucel for non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Patients with high tumor burden receiving higher total doses of corticosteroids or tocilizumab should be closely monitored for development of AKI. Lower baseline kidney function at CAR-T initiation, exposure to contrast material, and progressive increase in levels of tumor lysis markers (uric acid, lactate dehydrogenase, creatine kinase) after CAR-T infusion may predict risk of AKI during the 1 month after infusion.

Machine Learning Techniques Differentiate Alcohol-Associated Hepatitis From Acute Cholangitis in Patients With Systemic Inflammation and Elevated Liver Enzymes.
To develop machine learning algorithms (MLAs) that can differentiate patients with acute cholangitis (AC) and alcohol-associated hepatitis (AH) using simple laboratory variables. ⋯ Using a few routine laboratory variables, MLAs can differentiate patients with AC and AH and may serve valuable adjunctive roles in cases of diagnostic uncertainty.

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting in Octogenarians-Risks, Outcomes, and Trends in 1283 Consecutive Patients.
To describe the risks, outcomes, and trends in patients older than 80 years undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). ⋯ Although CABG in octogenarians carries a higher surgical risk, it may be associated with favorable outcomes and increase in long-term survival. Further studies are warranted to define subgroups benefiting more from surgical revascularization.
