Expression of Organic Anion Transporting Polypeptides in an H-Ras 12V Transgenic Mouse Model of Spontaneous Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
Expression of organic anion transporting polypeptides (OATPs) 1B1/1B3 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) induces a paradoxical enhancement of gadoxetic acid on liver magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We examined the expression profile of OATPs with regard to tumor differentiation in a genetically modified H-Ras 12V mouse model of spontaneous HCC that undergoes multistep hepatocarcinogenesis with minimal inter-individual variation. ⋯ Our findings support those of previous clinical studies that have reported the frequent appearance of gadoxetic acid-enhanced MRI in moderately differentiated HCC.

Role of Primary Care and Challenges for Public-Private Cooperation during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pandemic: An Expert Delphi Study in South Korea.
The aim of this study was to explore the role of primary care facilities and their support measures in response to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and to identify challenges to achieving public-private cooperation in South Korea. ⋯ This study provides guidance on strategies for continuing the required roles of primary care and highlights a need to strengthen public-private partnerships during pandemic events in Korea.

Limitation of Conventional Audiometry in Identifying Hidden Hearing Loss in Acute Noise Exposure.
The concept of hidden hearing loss can explain the discrepancy between a listener's perception of hearing ability and hearing evaluation using pure tone audiograms. This study investigated the utility of the suprathreshold auditory brainstem response (ABR) for the evaluation of hidden hearing loss in noise-exposed ear with normal audiograms. ⋯ The results suggest that either hidden hearing loss may not be significant in this cohort of patients with acute noise exposure history, or the possible damage by noise exposure is not reflected in the ABRs. Further studies are needed to inquire about the role of ABR in identification of hidden hearing loss.

LINC00662 Promotes Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cell Growth and Metastasis through miR-144-3p/EZH2 Axis.
Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) is identified as an important regulator involved in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) tumorigenesis. This study aimed to investigate the functional role and underlying mechanism of LINC00662 in OSCC. ⋯ LINC00662, as an oncogenic lncRNA of OSCC, accelerates OSCC progression by repressing miR-144-3p expression and increasing EZH2 expression.

Neutralizing Antibody Responses to SARS-CoV-2 in Korean Patients Who Have Recovered from COVID-19.
Neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) have been considered effective in preventing and treating viral infections. However, until now, the duration and clinical implications of antibody-mediated nature immunity in Koreans have remained unknown. Therefore, we examined NAbs levels and clinical characteristics in recovered coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. ⋯ All recovered patients were found to have NAbs regardless of the NAb titers maintained by natural immunity. Age and disease severity during COVID-19 infection were associated with high NAb titers.
