Reconstructive Endovascular Treatment of Compensative-Flow-Related Posterior Circulation Aneurysms With Anterior Circulation Artery Occlusion.
The aim of this study was to delineate the reconstructive endovascular treatment and periprocedural management of compensative-flow-related posterior circulation aneurysms with anterior circulation artery occlusion. ⋯ Our study indicates that reconstructive endovascular treatments are feasible and effective strategies for compensative-flow-related posterior circulation aneurysms with anterior circulation artery occlusion. However, these treatments are associated with a risk of periprocedural ischemic complications, which can be reduced by collateral arterial assessment, appropriate periprocedural anesthesia management, and antiplatelet treatment.

Multicenter StudyIdentifying factors associated with disparities in accessing an Integrative Oncology program.
Integrative oncology (IO) programs provide patients with evidence-based complementary medicine therapies within a supportive and palliative cancer care setting. This study retrospectively examined characteristics of patients with lung cancer predicting utilization of a freely-provided IO consultation at two medical centers in Israel. ⋯ The present study suggests that age, gender and culture-related factors (reflected by the patient's primary language) may contribute to disparities in accessing a freely-provided IO consultation, as shown in a diverse population of patients with lung cancer from two medical centers in Israel. Further research is needed to better understand the role of these programs within a diverse, equitable and inclusive setting of effective and safe integrative care of oncology patients.

Safety and Efficacy of Management for Intraprocedural Rupture During Endovascular Treatment for Intracranial Aneurysms.
Although intraprocedural rupture (IPR) is rare, it is a devastating complication of endovascular treatment (EVT) for intracranial aneurysms. Very few studies have been conducted on IPR, and the safety and efficacy of management techniques of IPR have not been investigated. ⋯ Although the setting of IPR may be miscellaneous, and optimal management varies depending on individual cases, heparin reversal might be associated with ischemic complications, and its role in the successful hemostasis in IPR during EVT for ruptured aneurysms remains unclear.

Multicenter StudyEvaluation of a Reiki Volunteer Program within Two Cancer Infusion Centers.
Reiki is a biofield therapy from Japan currently used in many US hospitals. Evidence supports Reiki's effectiveness for addressing cancer and treatment-related symptoms such as pain and anxiety. However, no study to date has assessed changes in nausea following Reiki received during infusion treatments or assessed patients from multiple healthcare locations. ⋯ Outpatients receiving Reiki during infusion reported clinically significant improvements in all symptoms, high levels of satisfaction, and a qualitatively positive healing experience. More research is needed to assess long term changes following Reiki, including with an expanded program at additional healthcare locations.

Transforaminal Full-Endoscopic Surgery for Lumbar Foraminal Pathologies: A Comparative Clinical Effectiveness Study.
Full-endoscopic surgery is increasingly used for treating lumbar foraminal pathologies, though the specific indications remain unclear. This study aims to evaluate patient-reported outcomes after transforaminal full-endoscopic spine surgery for various lumbar foraminal conditions. ⋯ Endoscopic foraminotomies result in clinically meaningful symptomatic improvement for most lumbar foraminal pathologies. However, the effectiveness of decompression surgery for vertical foraminal stenosis is limited and requires further investigation.
