Multicenter StudyPsychometric properties of the Czech Integrated Palliative Outcome Scale: reliability and content validity analysis.
Outcome measurement is an essential part of the evaluation of palliative care and the measurements need to be reliable, valid and adapted to the culture in which they are used. The Integrated Palliative Outcome Scale (IPOS) is a widely used tool for assessing personal-level outcomes in palliative care. The aim of this study was to provide Czech version of IPOS and assess its psychometric properties. ⋯ Czech IPOS has very good reliability regarding both internal consistency and test-retest reliability. Together with an item analysis results, we can conclude that the Czech adaptation of the tool was successful. The convergent validity needs to be assessed on the larger sample and the proposed 2-factor internal structure of the questionnaire has to be confirmed by using CFA.

Psychometric Validation of the Role Function Restrictive Domain of the Migraine Specific Quality-of-Life Questionnaire Version 2.1 Electronic Patient-Reported Outcome in Patients With Episodic and Chronic Migraine.
To assess the measurement properties of the Migraine-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire version 2.1 (MSQv2.1) electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) Role Function-Restrictive (RFR) domain to evaluate the functional impact of migraine in patients with episodic (EM) or chronic migraine (CM) enrolled in clinical trials. ⋯ The MSQv2.1 ePRO RFR has sufficient reliability, validity, responsiveness, and appropriate interpretation standards for use in EM and CM clinical trials to assess the functional impact of migraine.

Development and psychometric evaluation of the Korean version of the cultural competence scale for clinical nurses.
To develop and psychometrically test the Korean version of the Cultural Competence Scale for Nurses (K-CCSN). ⋯ This preliminary evaluation of psychometric scale properties demonstrated acceptable validity and reliability. The K-CCSN is able to provide scientific and empirical data regarding the cultural competence of clinical nurses. However, further studies are needed to test the applicability of the scale in different settings and contexts.

Validity of the French version of the Core Outcome Measures Index for low back pain patients: a prospective cohort study.
Among the many questionnaires available to evaluate low back pain (LBP) patients, the Core Outcome Measures Index (COMI) has the unique advantage to investigate five dimensions using seven short questions. The aim of this study was to explore additional properties of the questionnaire in a French-speaking non-surgical population. ⋯ The COMI is a self-report questionnaire with the capacity to easily and quickly explore several dimensions in patients with LBP that can be then summarized in a meaningful sum score. Additional knowledge provided by our study should encourage the widespread use of the COMI among the spine community.
