Hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy type IV (HSAN IV) may be misdiagnosed because of low awareness among clinical professionals and overlap with other subtypes of congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP). ⋯ This report describes the pathological and imaging features and clinical manifestations of a child with HSAN IV in early life to provide a reference for the early diagnosis of the disease. Early diagnosis can help avoid self-mutilation and painless injury and reduce wound infection.

Zhishi Xiebai Guizhi Decoction for coronary heart disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a type of cardiovascular disease (CVD) caused by coronary atherosclerosis. It is a main cause of medical burden and cardiovascular related death. Zhishi Xiebai Guizhi Decoction (ZXGD) is a representative prescription of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the treatment of CHD, but there is poor systemically evidence-based appraisal. ⋯ ZXGD is effective and safe in the treatment of CHD. However, more rigorous and high-quality RCTs are needed to verify the conclusion.

Solid basal adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast: A case report and literature review.
Adenoid cystic carcinoma (AdCC) is a rare malignancy of the breast with a low Ki-67 index and good prognosis. Owing to the rarity of breast AdCC, the misdiagnosis rate is as high as 50%, and there is no consensus or recognized guidelines for the treatment of this disease. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a detailed clinical and pathological analysis in combination with a literature review to improve our understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of the disease. ⋯ Due to the high misdiagnosis rate of AdCC, accurate histopathological diagnosis is particularly important. At present, breast conserving surgery and local tumor resection are mainly used for the treatment of breast AdCC, and postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy is feasible.

The world is faced with challenges due to a growing aging population and the increasing burden of chronic disease. The acute shortage of nurses and high turnover rates, particularly among novice nurses, are of great concern in many countries. Several studies have shown that turnover intention among nurses is influenced by professional identity and job satisfaction. ⋯ Both professional identity (r = -0.459) and job satisfaction (r = -0.517) were significantly and moderately negatively correlated with turnover intention (P < .01). The results of the multivariate linear regression analysis revealed that variables including "Whether living with relatives," "Professional identity," "Control and responsibility for work," and "Benefits" jointly accounted for 29.9% of the variance related to turnover intention among novice nurses. "Whether living with relatives," "Professional identity," "Control and responsibility for work," and "Benefits" were highly predictive of turnover intention levels among novice nurses. Hence, potential predictors of turnover intention should be considered, and intervention research should be conducted to reduce the level of turnover intention among novice nurses.
