Zavegepant nasal spray is a novel CGRP receptor antagonist that has been developed for the acute treatment of migraine - a prevalent disease leading to disability and economic burden. The meta-analysis aims to quantify the efficacy of Zavegepant compared to standard care or placebo in achieving pain freedom, freedom from most bothersome symptoms (MBS), sustained pain freedom, and pain relapse at 2 to 48 hours. ⋯ This meta-analysis confirms the effectiveness of Zavegepant nasal spray in treating acute migraine, with significant improvements in pain and symptom relief. Further research is needed to determine the effect on pain relapse and overall safety.

Review Meta AnalysisNutritional interventions for preventing and treating pressure ulcers.
Pressure ulcers are localized injuries to the skin or the underlying tissue, or both, and are common in older and immobile people, people with diabetes, vascular disease, or malnutrition, as well as those who require intensive or palliative care. People with pressure ulcers often suffer from severe pain and exhibit social avoidance behaviours. The prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers involves strategies to optimize hydration, circulation, and nutrition. Adequate nutrient intake can reduce the risk factor of malnutrition and promote wound healing in existing pressure ulcers. However, it is unclear which nutrients help prevent and treat pressure ulcers. This is an update of an earlier Cochrane Review. ⋯ The benefits of nutritional interventions with various compositions for pressure ulcer prevention and treatment are uncertain. There may be little or no difference compared to standard nutrition or placebo. Nutritional supplements may not increase gastrointestinal side effects, but the evidence is very uncertain. Larger studies with similar nutrient compositions would reduce these uncertainties. No study investigated the effects of special diets (e.g. protein-enriched diet, vegetarian diet) on pressure ulcer incidence and healing.

Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Therapy Guided by Measurable Residual Disease.
The combination of ibrutinib and venetoclax has been shown to improve outcomes in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) as compared with chemoimmunotherapy. Whether ibrutinib-venetoclax and personalization of treatment duration according to measurable residual disease (MRD) is more effective than fludarabine-cyclophosphamide-rituximab (FCR) is unclear. ⋯ MRD-directed ibrutinib-venetoclax improved progression-free survival as compared with FCR, and results for overall survival also favored ibrutinib-venetoclax. The prevalence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is rising globally. In Germany, these conditions affect 0.7% of the population, or approximately 600 000 patients. Treatment strategies have become more diversified as a result of an improved understanding of disease pathogenesis. It remains unclear how the currently available drugs should best be used in each individual patient. ⋯ The treatment of a patient with IBD must take his or her prior treatment(s) and comorbidities into account, along with individual patient characteristics and treatment goals. Rational decision-making is required on the basis of the mechanism of action and the side-effect profile of the various drugs that are now available for use.

Association of noncoding RNAs with Kawasaki disease: A meta-analysis based on the current evidences.
In recent years, many studies have focused on the relationship between noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) and Kawasaki disease (KD). Studies have indicated that ncRNAs are associated with the occurrence and development of KD. Thus, we performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to investigate the diagnostic value of ncRNAs in KD patients. ⋯ This systematic review and meta-analysis demonstrated that ncRNAs could be used as novel biomarkers for detecting KD. More studies should be conducted in the future to verify the diagnostic values of ncRNAs in KD.
