Lockdown measures in response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic can have serious mental health effects on the population, especially in vulnerable groups, such as those living in poor socio-economic conditions, those who are homeless, migrant workers and asylum seekers/refugees. In addition, these vulnerable groups frequently have greater difficulty accessing health services and in treatment adherence. The aim of this study is to estimate the impact of the COVID-19-related lockdown on service utilisation and follow-up adherence in an Italian mental health outpatient service for migrants and individuals in socio-economic difficulties. ⋯ The lockdown-related reduction in numbers of patients accessing the mental health service makes it difficult to help vulnerable populations during a period of time in which their mental health needs are expected to increase. Moreover, the reduction seen in follow-up compliance increases the risk of treatment discontinuation and possible relapse. Proactive alternative strategies need to be developed to reach these vulnerable populations.

In the Turkish News: Coronavirus and "Alternative & complementary" medicine methods.
The object of this study is to analyze the complementary and alternative treatments for the prevention of COVID-19/Coronavirus in the Turkish news. ⋯ It was concluded that the sources and methods and the number of news items changed from one newspaper to another, the news lacked a scientific basis, and as a result, it might lead to misinterpretations among the public. There were different opinions among the experts in the proposed or criticized complementary and alternative medicine methods. It was observed that there was an increase in the number of news items related to using complementary and alternative medicine methods for the treatment of COVID19, a clear and easily understandable language was used in the news, but the content and sources of the news were insufficient in conveying the correct and scientific information. It was reported by previous literature potential interactions between herbal remedies/dietary supplements and prescribed drugs, complications of medical conditions and some adverse effects cause of CAM usage.

DORSCON Orange: An Approach to Challenges in a Busy Antenatal Diagnostic Centre in the Midst of a Global Pandemic.
The WHO declared the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) a global pandemic on 11 March 2020. Lessons from SARS epidemic led Singapore to develop stringent infection control protocols in preparation for future pandemics. However, unlike SARS, COVID-19 appears to be more transmissible and is predicted to continue for longer. ⋯ A key balance must be struck between keeping patients and healthcare workers safe while being able to provide quality and prompt obstetric care. Our Antenatal Diagnostic Centre (ADC) in KKH developed new strategies to adapt to the pandemic when the national Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) was raised from yellow to orange on 7 February 2020. In this paper, we discuss our clinical workflow to reduce the risk of transmission amongst patients and staff while minimising disruption to our services.

Practical strategies to manage cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic: Saudi Oncology Pharmacy Assembly Experts recommendations.
During COVID-19 pandemic, cancer patients are considered one of the most vulnerable to infection since they tend to have advanced age, multiple comorbidities, and are often immunosuppressed by their cancer or therapy. Hence, the Saudi Oncology Pharmacy Assembly has issued recommendations to reduce the frequency of cancer patients' visits to oncology centers during the pandemic while maintaining the access to cancer therapy and minimize the risk of exposure to coronavirus disease. ⋯ In conclusion, delivering cancer care during the COVID-19 pandemic carries significant challenges. This paper addressed suggestions to properly manage cancer patients during difficult times. Implementing changes in practice mandates a national collaborative effort from different sectors to guarantee the quality and continuity of care. The SOPA expert panel developed these recommendations, to ultimately contribute in maintaining access to cancer therapy while minimizing the risk of COVID-19 exposure.
