Practice Guideline Retraction Of Publication
TEMPORARY REMOVAL: Canadian Association of Gastroenterology CLINICAL Practice Guideline For Immunizations in Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Part 2: Inactivated Vaccines.
Patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) may be at increased risk of some vaccine-preventable diseases. The effectiveness and safety of vaccinations may be altered by immunosuppressive therapies or IBD itself. These recommendations developed by the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology and endorsed by the American Gastroenterological Association, aim to provide guidance on immunizations in adult and pediatric patients with IBD. This publication focused on live vaccines. ⋯ Maintaining appropriate vaccination status in patients with IBD is critical to optimize patient outcomes. In general, live vaccines are recommended in patients not on immunosuppressive therapy, but not for those using immunosuppressive medications. Additional studies are needed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of live vaccines in patients on immunosuppressive therapy.

Review Case Reports Retracted Publication
Conservative management of avascular necrosis of the metacarpal head: A case report and brief review.
Avascular necrosis (AVN) of the metacarpal head is rare, and there is no clear consensus on treatment. The main aim of this study was to discuss the possible pathologic-mechanics of its development, epidemiology, radiographic features, and outcome after conservative treatment. ⋯ Metacarpal head necrosis typically occurs in adolescent patients with a history of trauma. Conservative treatment may sometimes have an excellent prognosis.

Review Retraction Of Publication Meta Analysis
Operative versus nonoperative treatment of multiple simple rib fractures: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Surgical rib stabilization in flail chest is proven to be beneficial over nonoperative treatment in terms of rate of pneumonia, Intensive Care (IC) length of stay (ICLOS) and mechanical ventilation days. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to evaluate the effect of operative versus nonoperative treatment on the occurrence of pneumonia and other relevant clinical outcomes in patients with multiple simple rib fractures. ⋯ Surgical treatment of multiple simple rib fractures may result in a significant reduction of pneumonia, mortality, and hospital length of stay. A reducing effect of treatment on the duration of mechanical ventilation and IC length of stay, was not demonstrated. However, due to nonstandard or absent definitions of outcome measures as well as heterogenous patient groups and the observational design of studies, results must be interpreted with caution and high-quality studies are needed.

Retraction Of PublicationRetraction Note to: Implications of Entropy and Surgical Pleth Index-guided general anaesthesia on clinical outcomes in critically ill polytrauma patients. A prospective observational non-randomized single centre study.
The authors have retracted this article [1]. After publication it was discovered that Table 1 which reports the clinical and demographical characteristics of the patients in the study contains a number of statistical and typographical errors. The data reported in this article are therefore unreliable. All authors agree with this retraction.
