Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyMeasurement properties of the Inclusion Body Myositis Functional Rating Scale.
To evaluate the validity, reliability, responsiveness and meaningful change threshold of the Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) Functional Rating Scale (FRS). ⋯ When administered by trained raters, the IBMFRS is a reliable, valid and responsive tool that can be used to evaluate the impact of IBM and its treatment on physical function, with a 2-point reduction representing meaningful decline.

Multicenter StudyAssociation between heavy alcohol consumption and cryptogenic ischaemic stroke in young adults: a case-control study.
The underlying risk factors for young-onset cryptogenic ischaemic stroke (CIS) remain unclear. This multicentre study aimed to explore the association between heavy alcohol consumption and CIS with subgroup analyses stratified by sex and age. ⋯ Heavy alcohol consumption, particularly binge drinking, appears to be an independent risk factor in young men with CIS.

Multicenter StudyStatin use and long-term risk of recurrent intracerebral haemorrhage: the MUCH-Italy.
Whether statin use after spontaneous intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH) increases the risk of recurrent ICH is uncertain. ⋯ Statin use appears to be unrelated to the risk of ICH recurrence.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyCognitive rehabilitation effects on grey matter volume and Go-NoGo activity in progressive multiple sclerosis: results from the CogEx trial.
Research on cognitive rehabilitation (CR) and aerobic exercise (EX) to improve cognition in progressive multiple sclerosis (PMS) remains limited. CogEx trial investigated the effectiveness of CR and EX in PMS: here, we present MRI substudy volumetric and task-related functional MRI (fMRI) findings. ⋯ In PMS, CR modulated grey matter (GM) volume and insular activity. The association of GM and CVLT-II changes suggests GM plasticity contributes to cognitive improvements.

Multicenter StudyImmunosuppressive therapy in elderly patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder: a retrospective multicentre study.
The risk-benefit relationship of immunosuppressive therapies (ISTs) for elderly patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is not well established. This study aimed to investigate the safety and efficacy of IST in elderly patients with NMOSD. ⋯ In elderly patients with NMOSD, IST offers potential benefits in reducing relapse rates alongside a tolerable risk of adverse events.
