20-year Radiographic Outcomes Following Single Level Cervical Disc Arthroplasty: Results from a Prospective Randomized Controlled Trial.
Prospective randomized controlled trial. ⋯ Cervical disc arthroplasty maintains index-level and total cervical ROM with very long-term follow-up. Total cervical ROM was higher at 20 years in CDA relative to ACDF. CDA results in lower rates of ASD and adjacent-level ossification development than ACDF.

Cannabis Use is Associated with Higher Rates of Pseudarthrosis Following TLIF: A Multi-Institutional Matched-Cohort Study.
This was a retrospective cohort study. ⋯ After 1:1 exact matching to control for confounding variables, the findings of this study suggest that cannabis use is associated with higher rates of pseudarthrosis, as well as higher rates of all-cause surgical and all-cause medical complications. Further studies are needed to corroborate our findings.

Systematic review and meta-analysis. ⋯ In summary, our meta-analysis suggests that LSSE can potentially improve disability, especially when used as a single treatment. LSSE appears more beneficial in reducing disability than alleviating pain. Future research on different patient groups is needed to understand comprehensively LSSE's effects on other musculoskeletal disorders.
