The ongoing outbreak of coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) has been declared as Pandemic by the World Health Organization and now become a global health emergency. Low and Middle income-countries lack standard pharmacy services in terms of staff, education, training, pharmaceutical care, research, and practice. ⋯ Currently, pharmacies were easily accessible sites by the community, a trained staff under the guidance of pharmacist can be helpful for the management of visiting customers. In the surge of disease, pharmacists proved themselves as a frontline defense for the community by significant contribution in identifying, reporting, and managing COVID-19 patients through pharmaceutical care services at the community level, hospital/clinical level, and through Tele-pharmaceutical services.

Pediatric pneumonia and heart failure is a common critical illness in pediatrics. This article observes the clinical effects of dopamine and dobutamine in the treatment of pneumonia and heart failure. As a key neurotransmitter in the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, dopamine plays a very important role in the central nervous excitement of the human body. ⋯ There was a significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups of children. The time of disappearance of lung rales, the time of correction of heart failure and the length of hospital stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P <0.05). The clinical effects of dopamine and dobutamine on pneumonia and heart failure are significant.

This study was designed to compare the effects of TIVA (total intravenous anesthesia) by propofol and sevoflurane inhalation on perioperative inflammatory response, pulmonary function and postoperative cognitive function in patients with lung cancer resection. A total of 98 patients were randomly divided into study and control group with 49 cases in each group. The study group was given total intravenous anesthesia with propofol while the control group underwent simple inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane. ⋯ Compared with the control group, the concentrations of A-aDO2, MMP-9 and MDA at T3, the RI at T2-T3 and the Qs/Qt at T1-T3 all were lower in the study group. The MMSE (Mini Mental State Scale) score of the control group was higher than study group at 24 and 72 h after operation. The anesthesia with propofol can significantly reduce the perioperative inflammatory response and peroxidation with fewer damages on lung function.

Controlled Clinical Trial
Clinical study of external application of liuhe dan in the treatment of anal edge edema after mixed hemorrhoid operation.
To observe the therapeutic efficacy of external application of Liuhe Dan in the treatment of anal edge edema after mixed hemorrhoid operation. A total of 160 patients who had been treated for lotion anal edge edema from January 2016 to August 2018 were enrolled research ojbects. They were divided into control group accepting routine nursing methods (80 cases) and research group accepting external application of Liuhe Dan (80 cases). ⋯ The anal edge edema score and wound pain score of the research group were significantly lower than those of the control group (p<0.05). Meanwhile, the length of hospital stay and wound healing time of the research group were significantly shorter than those of the control group (p<0.05). External application of Liuhe Dan in the treatment of anal edge edema after mixed hemorrhoid operation could significantly improve the therapeutic efficacy and alleviate the patient's pain, which is of great application value.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Effect of propofol and sevoflurane on cognitive function among elderly patients undergoing elective surgery under anesthesia.
The objective of present study was to compare the effect of propofol and sevoflurane on cognitive function among elderly patients undergoing elective surgery under anesthesia. Elderly patient who met eligibility criteria were randomized to receive Intravenous anesthetic (propofol) or Inhalation anesthetic (sevoflurane, Group II) in allocation ratio of 1:1. The following variables were assessed, 1) recovery time; 2) measurement of attention and psychomotor functions; 3) memory (verbal memory); 4) obvious memories during anesthesia assessed by remembrance (recall) and recognition tests. ⋯ Similar trend of results was observed between both the groups after 120 minutes of anesthesia (delayed test). Moreover, the patients who were treated with propofol had better memory score as compared to patients treated with sevoflurane. The difference was statistically significant between both the treatment groups in both type of recognition test (immediate and delayed recognition test) [p<0.005].
