Effect of propofol and sevoflurane on cognitive function among elderly patients undergoing elective surgery under anesthesia.
The objective of present study was to compare the effect of propofol and sevoflurane on cognitive function among elderly patients undergoing elective surgery under anesthesia. Elderly patient who met eligibility criteria were randomized to receive Intravenous anesthetic (propofol) or Inhalation anesthetic (sevoflurane, Group II) in allocation ratio of 1:1. The following variables were assessed, 1) recovery time; 2) measurement of attention and psychomotor functions; 3) memory (verbal memory); 4) obvious memories during anesthesia assessed by remembrance (recall) and recognition tests. ⋯ Similar trend of results was observed between both the groups after 120 minutes of anesthesia (delayed test). Moreover, the patients who were treated with propofol had better memory score as compared to patients treated with sevoflurane. The difference was statistically significant between both the treatment groups in both type of recognition test (immediate and delayed recognition test) [p<0.005].

Clinical therapeutic effect and safety of celecoxib in treating knee osteoarthritis.
The clinical therapeutic effect and safety of celecoxib in treating knee osteoarthritis were observed. 180 patients who have been confirmed with knee osteoarthritis in our hospital were selected as research objects. They were randomly divided into research group and control group, each containing 90 patients. The control group was given with diclofenac sodium therapy, while the research group was subjected to celecoxib therapy. ⋯ However, these indexes of research group were superior then the control group after treatment,P<0.05. In addition, the rate of adverse reaction of research group was also lower than that of control group, P<0.05. Using celecoxib to treat knee osteoarthritis can significantly improve the total therapeutic rate and reduce the rate of adverse effect.

Curative effect of Jin'gangteng capsule combined with Kangfuxiaoyan suppository in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.
This paper aims to analyze the curative effect of Jin'gangteng capsule combined with Kangfuxiaoyan suppository in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. 97 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease admitted to our hospital from June 2015 to June 2016 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group. Patients in control group were treated with Kangfuxiaoyan suppository and patients in the observation group were treated with Jin'gangteng capsule combined with kangfuxiaoyan suppository treatment. ⋯ The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and there was significant difference between the two groups, P<0.05. Jin'gangteng capsule combined with Kangfuxiaoyan suppository in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease can improve the treatment efficiency and promote the rapid and effective relief of clinical symptoms and signs.

Anesthesia with propofol and sevoflurane on postoperative cognitive function of elderly patients undergoing general thoracic surgery.
This study is to analyze the effects and variations on cognitive function for elderly patients undergoing general thoracic surgery, who accepted the anesthesia with propofol and sevoflurane. A total of 500 elderly general thoracic surgical patients were selected randomly, all receiving the propofol anesthesia (Propofol group). Meanwhile, another totality of 500 patients in the same condition and period were selected and accepted the sevoflurane anesthesia (Sevoflurane group). ⋯ Moreover, P<0.05 was obtained on comparing the MMSE at the time of 1h, 6h and 12h after surgery and that at pre-operation, revealing statistical significance. Either propofol or sevoflurane, to certain extent, can affect patients' cognitive function when they are applied in the general thoracic surgery for elderly patients. However, the influence of propofol on cognitive function is relatively smaller, which presents a better application value.

Clinical research on the dexmedetomidine applied for patient-controlled sedation during the lower limbs operation under combined spinal-epidural anesthesia.
To investigate the effect and safety of dexmedetomidine applied for patient-controlled sedation under combined spinal anesthesia. 150 cases who would be implemented lower limbs operations were randomly divided into patient-controlled sedation group (Group PCS) and control group (Group C) and 75 cases for each group. The ages of patients were between 18 and 65 years old and patients were with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) or level. After being implemented combined spinal anesthesia, patients of Group PCS were undergone patient-controlled sedation by using dexmedetomidine (4μg/mL) with 2mL of load quantity, 1.5ml of background infusion quantity, 0.5mL of single dose and 20s of locking time; patients of Group C were constantly infused the normal saline at the rate of 10ml/h by pump injection. ⋯ The effective pressing numbers were 21.00±9. 07times. The patient-controlled dosages were (15.12±3.19) ml; The dosages were 11.29±2.16ml when the level of sedation achieved 3 to 4 scores in Ramsay sedation scores; And the required time to achieve 3 to 4 scores in Ramsay sedation scores was 7.55±1.53 min. In the lower limbs operations, the usage of dexmedetomidine applied for patient-controlled sedation under combined spinal anesthesia can effectively approach to the personalized medicine and is effective in clinical application.
