Randomized Controlled Trial
Determination of the effect of two different methods of dental anesthesia on pain level in pediatric patients: A cross-over, randomized trial.
In dentistry, needles are the most feared and anxiety-causing tool, making anesthetic injection a worrying practice for patients. ⋯ Patients feel similar pain perceptions during local anesthesia application in both injection systems. According to the SOL values, NFA may provide more higher anesthetic efficiency than IOA.

An intervention plan for preventing and handling amateur soccer players' injuries.
The majority of amateur soccer players are vulnerable to soccer-related injuries and many such injuries are avoidable with an adequate education. ⋯ In multiple scales and overall score levels, intervention group participants achieved significantly higher scores than their control group counterparts. Educational assistance appears to have had a good impact on their knowledge and skills.

Anti-microbial efficacy of root canal preparation in deciduous teeth with manual and rotary files: A randomized clinical trial.
In a pulpectomy, the eradication of microbes from the primary root canal is accomplished through biomechanical preparation, which could be carried out with either manual or rotary instruments. ⋯ Manual and rotary files were equally effective in removing root canal microbes. Biomechanical preparation with a KedoS Square rotary file resulted in greater microbial efficacy. Hence In children, effective root canal cleaning in a short period of time is a major consideration.

Posterior quadratus lumborum block versus posterior transversus abdominis plane block for unilateral inguinal hernia surgery.
Ultrasound-guided truncal nerve blocks are increasingly used for postoperative pain relief after abdominal surgery. ⋯ It is concluded that both pQLB and pTAPB provided effective pain relief after unilateral inguinal hernia surgery. pQLB was superior to pTAPB due to lower pain scores and analgesic consumption.

The efficacy of bismuth quadruple therapy, sequential therapy, and hybrid therapy as a first-line regimen for Helicobacter pylori infection compared with standard triple therapy.
To compare the effectiveness of first-line Helicobacter pylori eradication treatments as standard triple therapy (sTT), bismuth-containing quadruple therapy (BQT), sequential therapy (ST), and hybrid therapy (HT). ⋯ In terms of eradication, HT had the best rate, whereas the lowest rate was in the sTT treatment group. This study does not recommend using sTT because of the low eradication rates. This study recommends HT for overcoming antibiotic resistance and better results.
