Meta Analysis Comparative Study
[Selective COX-2 inhibitor versus nonselective COX-1 and COX-2 inhibitor in the prevention of heterotopic ossification after total hip arthroplasty: a meta-analysis of randomised trials].
To evaluate the clinical efficiency of selective cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor compared to traditional nonselective NSAIDs for the prevention of heterotopic ossification (HO) after total hip arthroplasty (THA). ⋯ The selective COX-2 inhibitors are as equally effective as nonselective NSAIDs for the prevention of HO after THA. Considering the side effects of nonselective NSAIDs, selective COX-2 inhibitors were recommend for the prevention of HO after THA.

Meta Analysis
[Effectiveness of manual therapy and traction for lumbar disc herniation: a meta-analysis].
To evaluate the effectiveness of manual therapy and traction for lumbar disc herniation and analyze the current status of this kind of randomized clinical trial (RCT). ⋯ The overall quality of the current RCT researches about manual therapy for lumbar disc herniation was lower, and did not support the conclusion that manual therapy was more effective than traction for lumbar disc herniation.

Review Meta Analysis
[Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis: a systematic review].
To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ The effects of Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy for treating knee osteoarthritis need more powerful trails to be confirmed. The above conclusions still need more high-quality randomized controlled trails to be verified owing to the limitations of the number and the quality of systematic review included studies.

Meta Analysis
[Systematic review of clinical randomized controlled trials on manipulative treatment of lumbar disc herniation].
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the manipulative treatment on lumbar disc herniation and analyze the current status of clinical studies. ⋯ This study shows that manipulative treatment on lumbar disc herniation is safe, effective, and both cure rate and the effective rate is better than other therapies. But the number of documents is limited and the quality is not very high, and the conclusion is still uncertain, high-quality evidence is needed to be further validated.
