Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
[Case-control study on the treatmentof the fifth metatarsal base fractures by cardboard compression pad versus short leg plaster].
To compare the effect, safety, and advantage of flexible fixation with paperboard and pad versus short leg plaster in treating the fifth metatarsal base fracture, and establish the standard of diagnosis and treatment of the fifth metatarsal base fractures in flexible fixation with paperboard and pad. ⋯ Using paperboard and pad fixation to treat the fifth metatarsal base fracture has the advantage of simplicity operating, reliable fixation, satisfactory effects, easily obtainable material.

Randomized Controlled Trial
[Case-control study on earlier medial tibial pain after total knee arthroplasty].
To compare the difference of anterior knee pain after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) between the ways using periosteal dissector and electric scalpel to release medial collateral ligament and pes anserinus. ⋯ Compared with using electric scalpel, using periosteal dissector used to release medial collateral ligament and pes anserinus may cause more anterior knee pain after total knee arthroplasty.

Randomized Controlled Trial
[Application of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation to multimodal analgesia after total knee arthroplasty].
To study the effects of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation on multimodal analgesia after total knee arthroplasty. ⋯ It is meaningful to apply transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation for treating multimodal analgesia after total knee arthroplasty, which can not only relieve patients' postoperative pain, and also promote the rehabilitation of knee function as far as possible.

Randomized Controlled Trial
[Case-control studies on therapeutic effects of combined methods of minimally invasive percutaneous proximal humerus locked osteosynthesis plate with injectable bone for the treatment of proximal humerus fractures in elderly patients].
To evaluate the clinical effects of combined methods of minimally invasive percutaneous proximal humeral internal locking system (PHILOS) and injectable bone for the treatment of proximal humerus fractures in elderly patients. ⋯ PHILOS combined with injectable bone for the treatment of proximal humerus fractures in elderly patients has advantages of minimal wound, stable fixation, and earlier rehabilitation.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
[Comparative study on effect and safty of treating on calcaneus fractures with manipulative reduction with percutaneous K-wire fixation].
To explore the clinical effects and safty of manipulative reduction with percutaneous poking K-wire fixation for the treatment of the calcaneus fractures and analyze the indication of the minimal invasion. ⋯ For tongue form or compressing form of Sanders type II and tongue form of Sanders type III, manipulative reduction with percutaneous poking K-wire fixation has advantages of minimal invasion, minimized complications. Compressing form of Sanders type III fracture should be treated with operative redution.
