Medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) is the major static structure to restrain lateral patellar dislocation. There are always MPFL injuries in patellar dislocations. The medial ligamentous deficiency will lead to recurrent patellar dislocation or patellar instability. ⋯ Many techniques have invented MPFL reconstruction. The goal of this article is to develop a current understanding of MPFL and its clinical significance, especially MPFL reconstruction. The anatomical double bundle reconstruction of MPFL by bone anchors is a safe, easy and effective way to treat patellar dislocations.

To evaluate the clinical efficacy of posterior short-segment pedicle screw fixation combined reduction of central end-plate by end-plate expand clamp and vertebroplasty with calcium phosphate cement for the treatment of thoracolumbar burst fractures. ⋯ Posterior short-segment pedicle screw fixation combined with vertebroplasty with calcium phosphate cement can provide excellent reduction of post-traumatic segmental kyphosis and restore vertebral body height in the fracture level, prevent the failure of internal fixation which is an ideal method for the treatment of thoracolumbar burst fractures.

To explore a simple, effective threrapeutic method for the treatment of ischemia necrosis of femoral head. ⋯ Minimally invasive core decompression combined with impaction bone grafting can reduce the stress load of femoral head, stabilized the environment of femoral head, promote osteonecrotic bone rapairing and prevent effectively the femoral head form collapsing. This method can be applied to femoral head necrosis at Ficat II, III stage, especially for young and middle-age patients.

[Comparative study on impacted high tibial osteotomy and conventional high tibial osteotomy for the treatment of flexional medial knee osteoarthritis in aged patients].
To compare the therapeutic effect of impacted high tibial osteotomy and conventional high tibial osteotomy for the treatment of flexional medial osteoarthritis of knee joint in aged patients. ⋯ Compared with conventional high tibial osteotomy, impacted high tibial osteotomy can significantly shorten the bone healing period, improve the knee flexion, varus deformity, and the knee function.

To explore the causes and mechanisms of children elbow joint injury led to elbow varus. ⋯ There are two main factors of formation for the children elbow varus deformity: the main causes is epiphysial dysplasia after fracture and imbalance growth of epiphysis; the secondary reasons is ulnar inclination of the distal fracture, rotation of the distal fracture, fracture shift such as ulnar bone cortical extrusion collapse.
