Prevalence and predictors of self-medication drugs to prevent or treat COVID-19: experience from a Middle Eastern country.
The lack of definitive cure for COVID-19 and the late introduction of a vaccine were responsible to push the general public to look for a remedy to treat or prevent COVID-19. The objective of this study was to evaluate patterns and factors that affect self-medication practices in Jordan during the pandemic. ⋯ This study identified the main drugs and supplements used during COVID-19 and the motives behind their use. It also identified the most influential source of information on the public during the pandemic. Self-medication can lead to worsening of the patient's health and delay seeking medical advice from healthcare professionals. Efforts should be done to help mitigate risks of self-medications by active involvement of pharmacists and other members of healthcare team to refute false claims about drug, especially in the media.

Comparison of the Clinical and Radiological manifestations of Male Patients with COVID-19 from different Ethnicities.
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak began in Wuhan, China, and quickly escalated into a significant pandemic threat. COVID-19 is associated with variable morbidity and mortality rates, which differ greatly from one country to another. This study aimed to investigate the clinical findings of SARS-CoV-2 infection in different ethnic groups, as well as to identify the radiological manifestations and various biomarkers for the assessment of COVID-19 patients. ⋯ There were great variations in clinical, radiological and even laboratory findings among different ethnic groups of COVID-19 patients.

Correlation between Plain X-ray Measurements and DXA Scans, and its possible use as a screening tool for performing DXA scans.
The purpose of this study is to determine if there is a relationship between radiological parameters measured using a plain X-ray and DXA scan score, and whether a plain X-ray can be used as surrogate imaging modality when DXA scan is not readily available. ⋯ DXA imaging remains the gold standard for diagnosing osteoporosis and we advocate the use of CTI to detect the patients who need DXA screening in places where this modality is not readily available.

What Are The Factors That Affect Post COVID 1st Month's Continuing Symptoms?
The aim of our research was to investigate retrospectively the relationship between the symptoms and general characteristics, initial laboratory values and treatments in patients who had COVID-19 and who applied to the chest diseases outpatient clinic for control after 1 month. ⋯ Symptoms may persist for a long time in hospitalised patients, in patients with COVID-19-related pneumonia and concomitant chronic diseases and in patients with high D-dimer and high CRP at the time of admission. Patients are informed that their symptoms may last for a long time, unnecessary hospital admissions can be avoided.

Observational StudyDynamic thiol/disulphide balance in patients undergoing hypotensive anesthesia in elective septoplasties.
We aimed to investigate the effects of hypotensive anaesthesia on oxidative stress with serum thiol/disulphide balance in patients undergoing elective septoplasty procedures under general anaesthesia. ⋯ This pilot study has found that hypotensive anaesthesia had no adverse effect on dynamic thiol/disulphide balance in elective surgeries.
