Diagnostic Value of Platelet/lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) for Predicting Sentinel Axillary Lymph Node Positivity in Early Stage Breast Cancer Compared to Ultrasonography.
In breast cancer, the most important prognostic factor is axillary lymph node metastasis. However, there is no method which can diagnose axillary lymph node metastasis preoperatively with high sensitivity. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and sentinel lymph node metastasis in early-stage breast cancer. ⋯ The rate of success in diagnosing metastatic SLN in early-stage breast cancer is higher in PLR when compared with USG and other imaging methods.

Association of Celiac Disease with esophageal eosinophilia and eosinophilic esophagitis.
Aim of the study was to evaluate the association between celiac disease and eosinophilic oesophagitis/oesophageal eosinophilia in children. ⋯ Although an association between celiac disease and eosinophilic oesophagitis/oesophageal eosinophilia have been postulated in recent years, no exact relationship was established in this study. This is the first study reporting the performance of follow-up GI endoscopy with biopsies revealing the resolution of oesophageal eosinophilia.

The performance of artificial intelligence supported Thoracic CT to evaluate the radiologic improvement in patients with COVID-19 pneumonia: comparision pirfenidon vs. corticosteroid.
We aimed to investigate the effect of short-term pirfenidone treatment on prolonged COVID-19 pneumonia. ⋯ Antifibrotic agents can reduce fibrosis that may develop in the future. These can also help dose reduction and/or non-use strategy for methylprednisolone therapy, which has many side effects. Further large series and randomised controlled studies are needed on this subject.

The effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on dermatology consultation requests from adult and pediatric emergency departments.
This study aimed to determine the characteristics of dermatology consultation requests from the adult and paediatric emergency departments (EDs) of a university hospital during 8 months of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and to compare them with the same 8 months of 2019. ⋯ COVID-19 restrictions and fear of COVID-19 infection might have discouraged patients from presenting to EDs because of skin problems; however, the easing of COVID-19 restrictions might lead to an increase in ED presentations, including non-urgent dermatological disorders. In order to reduce unnecessary use of EDs and prevent ED overcrowding, the general public should be educated about what constitutes a dermatological emergency.

Relationship between Chest CT scan Findings with SOFA score, CRP, Comorbidity, and Mortality in ICU Patients with COVID-19.
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between chest computed tomography (CT) scan findings with sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) score, C-reactive protein (CRP), comorbidity, and mortality in intensive care unit (ICU) patients with coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19). ⋯ Multifocal bilateral GGO was the most common pattern. Although chest CT scan characteristics were significantly related with SOFA score, CRP, and comorbidity in ICU patients with COVID-19, a relationship with mortality was not significant.
